Before we administer any treatment we provide a full consultation which takes between 30 and 60 minutes. Anti-wrinkle injections usually takes between 5 and 10 minutes to administer; fillers take between 10 and 20 minutes. Skin peels take about 30 minutes.

You will see an immediate effect from the fillers. Anti-wrinkle injections takes 2 to 3 days to start working and it may take up to 2 weeks for the full effects to become visible.

No! Prior to filler injections an anaesthetic cream is applied that numbs the skin. anti-wrinkle injections injections only sting slightly as the injections are very quick and shallow. We can also apply anaesthetic cream for anti-wrinkle injections injections if you prefer. Skin peels are not painful though some clients experience a slight ‘warming’ sensation to skin during the treatment which quickly wears off.

Anti-wrinkle injections treatments last for 3 to 4 months for the first couple of treatments. After that you only usually require a re-treatment twice a year. Depending on the area treated fillers last between 6 and 12 months, sometimes longer.

Some clients experience a slight headache with anti-wrinkle injections for a few hours after treatment. There can also be minor bruising at the injection site. In rare cases a drooping of the eyelid is noticeable though this will wear off. Slight bruising and swelling at the injection site of fillers can occur. Any possible side effects will be discussed in full with you during your consultation prior to treatment.
